Roberta Stewart

Roberta advises a variety of clients with their business, real property, and estate matters. Her practice focuses on corporate organizations and reorganizations, and commercial transactions such as buying and selling a business, corporate/business succession planning, drafting and reviewing complex agreements and contracts, and overseeing routine corporate record management in accordance with the BC Corporate Registry requirements.

Roberta completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Program in 2020. This adjunct knowledge provides a greater perspective on the tax consequences of corporate transactions and also informs her collaborative efforts with accountants.

A veteran of the Prince George legal industry, Roberta takes an active role in mentoring articling students and other professionals within the legal system, a responsibility she finds very fulfilling. Her community leadership and deep industry knowledge inform Roberta’s personal and tailored approach with clients who are undertaking some of the most important transactions of their lives.

Roberta originally comes from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and still cheers for the WHL Raiders, even when they come to the CN Centre to face the Cougars.

Prince George has a similar profile to her hometown: a resource-based regional hub, so she felt comfortable upon arrival. She is now a fixture here in the local community, often seen on the running trails of the city and competing in an ever-growing number of half-marathons. Roberta and her husband Steve take full advantage of the hiking and backcountry bounty the area has to offer.

After serving for 6 years as a governor for the Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia, Roberta joined the board of the Prince George Community Foundation in the spring of 2024.  Roberta joined the board of Northern BC Women in Business in 2025.
