Workshop Facilitator: Dr. Cindi Saj

Cindi Saj, PhD is also the co-founder of Guidebook Consulting. Cindi works by supporting clients in their journey of self-discovery, by helping them uncover their unique strengths, values, and aspirations.

Cindi works with children, youth and adults. She is experienced in working in rural and urban settings with individuals facing a diverse range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, criminality, abuse, anger management, impulsivity, suicidality, substance use/addiction and concurrent mental health disorders.


She has a Doctorate Degree from University of Manitoba, a Master’s Degree from Lakehead University, and Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University.


Cindi has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Indigenous Focusing-Oriented Therapy (IFOT),  Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Yoga for Trauma Recover, and other expressive art therapies. Cindi also offers Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) to children, youth and adults in-person or online.


Cindi is also a University Instructor at Yorkville University and Thompson Rivers University, which supports her passion for learning and teaching by helping others to becoming clinical counsellors and social workers.


She is passionate about making the world a better place.
